As per our ritual Awareness Voluntary Organization celebrates 14th August, Independence Day of Pakistan with lots of zeal and enthusiasm, with more than 500 plus Adults & Children with Disabilities, their Care-takers, Teachers, Parents and Committee Members & ‘Community Service Volunteers’ of Awareness Voluntary Organization, all gathering at the office compound of Awareness Voluntary Organization in a festive & patriotic mood.

This year Awareness Voluntary Organization celebrated 14th August, Independence Day of Pakistan in a very simple way due to the natural disaster in Pakistan, in which more than 16 million people lost almost all their moveable properties & livestock. Some Committee Members, Volunteers and a group of Young Volunteers gathered on the night of 13th August, Eve of Independence Day of Pakistan at the office of AVO, we hoisted the flag at 0.00 hours of 14th August, sang the national anthem & distributed candies to the attendees.

Our President recited Du’a for Progress, Prosperity & Safety of Pakistan. Du’a was also recited for the Nizaat (Banishment) of all the grievances of our fellow Pakistani effected by the Natural Disaster & for their Prosperity & good health.

The funds which were reserved for the grand Independence Day celebration event was given to the relief fund for the victims of the natural floods as a gesture of solidarity & humanitarian support for our fellow Pakistan.
